ILLUMINATING OCEAN DEGRADATION

Last night Ocean Rebellion projected a series of messages onto the Torre de Belém, Lisbon.
The messages joined the dots between the many ways the Ocean is being degraded and the UN bodies complicit in this degradation.
Firstly illuminations addressed to all world leaders and UN delegates:
Next illuminations to remind the UN International Maritime Organisation (IMO) of their duty to the environment:
The fate of the Ocean depends on us all.
Our interventions depend on support.
Then illuminations addressing the other corrupted UN body, the International Seabed Authority (ISA):
And here’s illuminations aimed at the fishing ‘Sustainability Development Goal’ SDG 14. A UN voluntary commitment which nations chose to ignore:
