In onze versie wordt een 'dode zeeman' onthuld in een gigantisch Petit Navire tonijnblik (Petit Navire is eigendom van en wordt gerund door de wereldwijde tonijngigant <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thaiunion.com\/en\/products-and-brands\/our-brands\">Thaise Unie<\/a><\/strong>), waardoor het einde van het verhaal is veranderd - de jonge zeeman kan niet worden gered, hij is het slachtoffer van dwangarbeid en er zijn geen vissen meer over om in de boot te springen (in het oorspronkelijke verhaal wordt hij gered van een hongerige bemanning wanneer vissen uit het water in de boot springen - laat zien hoe oud het kinderrijmpje is!)
