Ocean Rebellion, in Portogallo, ha celebrato la giornata mondiale dell'acqua mettendo in scena un richiamo al fragile stato dell'oceano con Movimento Pelas \u00c1guas e Serras<\/strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Centinaia di lavoratori, mentre tornavano a casa, hanno assistito all'arenarsi di pesci impigliati negli attrezzi da pesca e nei rifiuti di plastica, soffocati dai rifiuti gettati via dalla nostra cultura dell'usa e getta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oggi, in Portogallo come in molte altre parti del mondo, assistiamo a una mancanza di politiche di protezione delle nostre risorse naturali, che ha portato a una serie di morie marine, siccit\u00e0 e incendi selvaggi che stanno minacciando molte popolazioni mondiali. Un esempio chiaro e inquietante \u00e8 il progetto di miniere a cielo aperto a Covas do Barroso<\/a>Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Agricoltura, vicino al nostro unico Parco Nazionale portoghese di Peneda-Ger\u00eas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Per quanto possa sembrare assurdo, nel 2023 dobbiamo ancora lottare per la tutela del nostro diritto pi\u00f9 elementare: il diritto di vivere. Che ovviamente \u00e8 possibile solo perch\u00e9 il nostro pianeta Terra \u00e8 in grado di soddisfare i nostri bisogni - ma non per molto se continuiamo a percorrere questa strada di trascurare costantemente ci\u00f2 che rende possibile la vita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ocean Rebellion promette di fare pressione sul governo portoghese invadendo le strade e le coste. Continueremo a ricordare a tutti che la Terra deve essere protetta per il bene di tutta la vita. La Terra non pu\u00f2 essere trattata come una risorsa economica e sfruttata a beneficio di poche persone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
