De plus, le carbone noir provenant de la combustion du HFO tombe sous forme de suie et fait que les calottes glaciaires absorbent plus de chaleur et fondent, acc\u00e9l\u00e9rant encore les terrifiantes boucles de r\u00e9troaction du r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire qui menacent toutes nos vies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Le carbone noir est particuli\u00e8rement dangereux lorsqu'il est \u00e9mis par les navires dans l'Arctique. L'OMI discute des r\u00e8gles relatives au carbone noir depuis plus de dix ans et le meilleur r\u00e9sultat qu'elle ait obtenu est un engagement en faveur d'un passage volontaire \u00e0 des carburants plus propres. L'industrie du transport maritime s'est montr\u00e9e incapable d'autor\u00e9gulation et met en danger d'innombrables vies. Ils sont exp\u00e9di\u00e9s dans le monde entier et constituent la base de tous les produits en plastique. Tous les produits en plastique que vous achetez sont d'abord des \"nurles\" ou des granul\u00e9s de plastique.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>La pollution par les \"nurdles\" ou boulettes de plastique est une forme importante de pollution microplastique oc\u00e9anique. Ses effets d\u00e9vastateurs peuvent \u00eatre observ\u00e9s lors de catastrophes \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, telles que le naufrage de l'avion de l'Union europ\u00e9enne.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-asia-57395693\">X-Press Pearl (2021)<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;ou&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gard.no\/web\/updates\/content\/32971578\/learning-from-experience-the-trans-carrier-nurdle-spill\">Trans Carrier (2020).<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;Mais il y a aussi beaucoup de fuites et de d\u00e9versements chroniques qui se produisent \u00e0 chaque \u00e9tape du processus d'exp\u00e9dition. La preuve de ces fuites chroniques se retrouve dans la forte proportion de granul\u00e9s trouv\u00e9s dans les \u00e9chantillons de microplastique dans les ports.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Les engins de p\u00eache abandonn\u00e9s et perdus, \u00e9galement connus sous le nom de filets de p\u00eache fant\u00f4mes, repr\u00e9sentent environ 50% des d\u00e9bris plastiques marins dans la grande plaque d'ordures du Pacifique et \u2153 des d\u00e9chets marins dans les mers europ\u00e9ennes. Ces \u00e9purateurs emp\u00eachent les pires polluants du HFO d'entrer dans l'atmosph\u00e8re : c'est bien, non ? Pas si l'\u00e9purateur transforme le HFO en une solution acide et l'envoie dans l'oc\u00e9an. Ainsi, au lieu de polluer l'air, l'OMI vise maintenant \u00e0 polluer la mer - c'est s\u00fbrement la d\u00e9finition du greenwash !<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"http:\/\/ocean-rebellion.onyx-sites.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/un-unfit-for-purpose-un-imo-crispin1.jpg\" alt=\"un unfit for purpose un imo - crispin1\" class=\"wp-image-536\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/un-unfit-for-purpose-un-imo-crispin1.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/un-unfit-for-purpose-un-imo-crispin1-596x397.jpg 596w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\n<div id=\"supportus-block_c09874dd3cb0a40404fb60667c99f242\" class=\"block--supportus\">\n    \n    <p class=\"no-margin\">\n        <strong>Le sort de l'oc\u00e9an d\u00e9pend de nous tous.<br \/>\r\nNos interventions d\u00e9pendent du soutien.<\/strong>\n    <\/p>\n    \n    <div class=\"wp-container-1 wp-block-buttons\">\n\n        <div class=\"wp-block-button button--support\">\n            <a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"\/fr\/support-us\/\">Soutenez-nous<\/a>\n        <\/div>\n\n        <div class=\"wp-block-button button--contact\">\n            <a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"\/fr\/about\/\">Nous contacter<\/a>\n        <\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gaz naturel liquide, les faits<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Le GNL est un combustible fossile qui, lorsqu'il est br\u00fbl\u00e9 en tant que combustible marin, lib\u00e8re du m\u00e9thane dans l'atmosph\u00e8re - un gaz dangereux pour le r\u00e9chauffement de la plan\u00e8te, qui est plus que jamais d'actualit\u00e9.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theicct.org\/publication\/the-climate-implications-of-using-lng-as-a-marine-fuel\/\">80 fois plus de r\u00e9chauffement climatique<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u00e0 court terme que le dioxyde de carbone.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Le Groupe d'experts intergouvernemental sur l'\u00e9volution du climat (GIEC) des Nations unies.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/report\/ar6\/wg1\/\">identifi\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;la r\u00e9duction rapide des \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane comme l'une des principales priorit\u00e9s afin de limiter autant que possible le r\u00e9chauffement de la plan\u00e8te \u00e0 1,5\u00b0C. Le site&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/report\/ar6\/wg3\/\">Le dernier rapport du GIEC<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;L'accent mis sur l'att\u00e9nuation du changement climatique montre clairement que le gaz fossile sous forme de GNL n'est pas une solution pour la d\u00e9carbonisation du transport maritime.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 ce que dit la science du climat, les compagnies maritimes et portuaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cma-cgm.com\/news\/3571\/cma-cgm-to-dedicate-six-new-lng-powered-vessels-to-service-u-s-customers\">investir massivement dans le GNL fossile<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, en affirmant que ce carburant r\u00e9duira leur impact sur l'environnement et la pollution climatique. Plus de 785 nouveaux navires de charge sont actuellement en commande dans le monde, dont plus de 400 sont construits pour fonctionner au GNL fossile.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Br\u00fbler davantage de GNL fossile \u00e0 bord des navires est une catastrophe en devenir pour notre plan\u00e8te. Cela ne ferait qu'augmenter les \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane des navires, qui sont d\u00e9j\u00e0&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imo.org\/en\/OurWork\/Environment\/Pages\/Fourth-IMO-Greenhouse-Gas-Study-2020.aspx\">a augment\u00e9 de 150% entre 2012 et 2018,<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;selon l'Organisation maritime internationale (OMI) des Nations unies. En rel\u00e9guant sans cesse la pollution au second plan (en ignorant les preuves scientifiques contre l'utilisation de technologies \u00e9cologiques comme le gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 et les \u00e9purateurs de carbone), l'OMI a prouv\u00e9 qu'elle n'\u00e9tait pas apte \u00e0 remplir sa mission.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Si l'on ajoute \u00e0 cela l'\u00e9chec d'un trait\u00e9 visant \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger la haute mer (ou la probabilit\u00e9 d'un trait\u00e9 qui ne prot\u00e9gera certainement pas la haute mer), n'est-il pas temps pour l'ONU de lever les bras au ciel et de d\u00e9clarer que \"\u00e7a ne marche pas\" ? C'est tr\u00e8s bien que l'ONU fasse des d\u00e9clarations comme \"l'incendie criminel de notre seule maison\", mais les paroles ne valent rien. Arr\u00eatez les discussions inutiles et les jeux g\u00e9opolitiques, dites la v\u00e9rit\u00e9, asseyez-vous \u00e0 nouveau et commencez un v\u00e9ritable changement. D\u00e9noncez les entreprises et les gouvernements qui font obstacle \u00e0 la sauvegarde de l'oc\u00e9an, et indiquez les cons\u00e9quences de ce qu'ils essaient d'accomplir. Nous avons besoin de l'oc\u00e9an pour prosp\u00e9rer \u00e0 nouveau, car si la mer meurt, nous mourrons.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La r\u00e9bellion de l'oc\u00e9an exige :<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>L'ONU doit cr\u00e9er un nouvel organisme transparent et repr\u00e9sentatif pour gouverner l'oc\u00e9an dans l'int\u00e9r\u00eat de TOUTE vie. La restauration et le r\u00e9approvisionnement de l'oc\u00e9an doivent \u00eatre les seuls crit\u00e8res de r\u00e9ussite de ce nouvel organisme. Il doit remplacer le pouvoir des entreprises par le pouvoir du peuple. La premi\u00e8re fois, c'\u00e9tait Wakashio, la catastrophe p\u00e9troli\u00e8re qui a d\u00e9cim\u00e9 la c\u00f4te mauricienne. Ensuite, il s'agissait du lobbying en faveur des combustibles fossiles et des liens avec le Baltic Exchange et les fausses lois sur le transport maritime. Puis ce fut le HFO et l'influence d'initi\u00e9s aux mains de repr\u00e9sentants r\u00e9els comme le \"capitaine Ian Finlay\". L'OMI est inutile, \u00e0 quoi sert-elle ? Ils ne prot\u00e8gent m\u00eame pas les marins, tout ce qu'ils font, c'est faire du greenwashing sur les profits du transport maritime\".<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Suzanne Stallard ajoute :<\/strong><br>\"Les Nations unies tiennent un grand discours. L'Organisation maritime internationale et l'Autorit\u00e9 internationale des fonds marins, deux organismes des Nations unies, sont inadapt\u00e9s. Tous deux sont totalement corrompus par l'industrie et gouvernent l'oc\u00e9an au nom de l'industrie. Nous vivons une \u00e9poque d'effondrement \u00e9cologique sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, l'ONU doit le reconna\u00eetre par sa gouvernance et pas seulement en paroles.
