Les d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de l'OMI et les \u00c9tats membres y finaliseront des plans visant \u00e0 r\u00e9glementer la pollution des navires.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour marquer cette occasion sp\u00e9ciale, nous avons pens\u00e9 leur rappeler que toutes les \u00e9missions li\u00e9es au transport maritime ne sont pas trait\u00e9es de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re. En fait, certaines d'entre elles peuvent ne pas \u00eatre prises en compte du tout. Pour rappeler aux \u00c9tats membres et aux d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de l'OMI que tous les combustibles fossiles doivent \u00eatre trait\u00e9s sur un pied d'\u00e9galit\u00e9. Une affiche contenant le message graphique \u2018LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS LOVES GREENWASHING\u2019 (le gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 aime l'\u00e9coblanchiment). Le pr\u00e9caire Scrubby, mont\u00e9 sur une longue perche de 4 m\u00e8tres, a coll\u00e9 l'affiche sur la fen\u00eatre, donnant \u00e0 tout le monde \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur l'occasion d'applaudir ses merveilleuses comp\u00e9tences. Il n'est pas n\u00e9cessaire de chercher bien loin, les membres de l'organisation <a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/about-us\/membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEA\/LNG<\/a> fournit une liste compl\u00e8te des sc\u00e9l\u00e9rats. Le p\u00e9trole et le gaz ne peuvent pas faire partie de \u2018l'avenir du transport maritime\u2019. Si l'OMI des Nations unies veut vraiment r\u00e9duire la pollution, le transport maritime doit cesser d'utiliser des combustibles fossiles. <\/em><br>-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scrubby repr\u00e9sente l'\u00e9coblanchiment flagrant qui donnera au GNL un laissez-passer pour \u00e9viter tout plan du MEPC visant \u00e0 inclure le GNL dans les r\u00e9glementations sur la pollution des navires et les pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements fiscaux - faisant du GNL le combustible fossile privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 pour le transport maritime (tout en continuant \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les \u00e9missions dangereuses et les profits obsc\u00e8nes des industries des combustibles fossiles et du transport maritime). Des r\u00e9unions domin\u00e9es par les int\u00e9r\u00eats de l'industrie du transport maritime, une industrie qui a l'intention de cimenter son idylle avec l'industrie du p\u00e9trole et du gaz en adoptant le GNL sale comme carburant de pr\u00e9dilection. Et ce, en d\u00e9pit des recherches r\u00e9centes qui ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 les mensonges des plateformes de lobbying industriel telles que <a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEA\/LNG<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/scijournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/ese3.1934\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">La recherche \u00e9valu\u00e9e par des pairs<\/a> r\u00e9v\u00e8le que le GNL extrait et export\u00e9 des \u00c9tats-Unis est 33% plus polluant que le charbon, ce qui lui vaut le titre de combustible fossile le plus mortel. Des fuites de m\u00e9thane se produisent tout au long du processus d'extraction et d'approvisionnement en GNL, augmentant les taux de mortalit\u00e9 et causant des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9. L'extraction du GNL d\u00e9truit les terres et les communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/article\/2024\/jul\/24\/fossil-fuel-liquified-natural-gas-louisiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">partout o\u00f9 une usine de GNL appara\u00eet.<\/a> Ces m\u00eames fuites se poursuivent \u00e0 bord <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/articles\/methane-escaping-from-green-gas-powered-ships-fuelling-climate-crisis-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Navires fonctionnant au GNL<\/a>, L'industrie du p\u00e9trole et du gaz contribue \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l'effondrement du climat et l'effondrement de nos \u00e9conomies. Pour dissimuler cette v\u00e9rit\u00e9 g\u00eanante, l'industrie claironne <a href=\"https:\/\/saynotolng.org\/resource\/biomethane-infographic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biom\u00e9thane<\/a> et<a href=\"https:\/\/saynotolng.org\/resource\/factsheet-e-lng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> e-m\u00e9thane<\/a> qui ne repr\u00e9sentent que 6% du march\u00e9 de l'UE et encore moins au niveau mondial (et tous deux continuent de laisser \u00e9chapper du m\u00e9thane tout au long de leurs cha\u00eenes d'approvisionnement et, dans le cas du biom\u00e9thane, d'utiliser des ressources fonci\u00e8res et d'aggraver la p\u00e9nurie et les prix des denr\u00e9es alimentaires). L'ampleur industrielle de l'\u00e9coblanchiment du GNL a transform\u00e9 le MEPC de l'OMI de l'ONU en marionnette de l'industrie p\u00e9troli\u00e8re et gazi\u00e8re.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"672\" src=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Outside8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Outside8.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Outside8-596x334.jpg 596w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Outside8-768x430.jpg 768w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Outside8-18x10.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2b06\ufe0f <\/em>\u201cIl s'agit d'un terrain priv\u00e9, veuillez partir maintenant !!!\u201d <br><em>\u201cJe vais essayer monsieur, mais faites attention au sol mouill\u00e9, il est assez glissant\u201d.\u201d<\/em><br>\u201cPartez, quittez ce terrain, vous commettez une intrusion douce\u201d.\u201d<br><em>\u201cJe le ferai si vous enlevez la barri\u00e8re, ma hanche n'est pas tr\u00e8s bonne et je n'arrive pas \u00e0 la franchir...\u201d<\/em> <br>-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 (GNL) - <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theicct.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/ID-64-%E2%80%93-FUMES-ships-Report-A4-60037-FV.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>les faits<br><\/strong><\/a>Le GNL est un combustible fossile qui, lorsqu'il est extrait, transport\u00e9 et br\u00fbl\u00e9 en tant que combustible marin, laisse \u00e9chapper du m\u00e9thane dans l'atmosph\u00e8re - un gaz dangereux pour le r\u00e9chauffement de la plan\u00e8te, qui est plus que jamais d'actualit\u00e9. <a href=\"https:\/\/theicct.org\/publication\/the-climate-implications-of-using-lng-as-a-marine-fuel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">80 fois plus de r\u00e9chauffement climatique<\/a> \u00e0 court terme (20 ans) que le dioxyde de carbone.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Groupe d'experts intergouvernemental sur l'\u00e9volution du climat (GIEC) des Nations unies. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/report\/ar6\/wg1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">identifi\u00e9<\/a> des r\u00e9ductions rapides des \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane comme l'une des principales priorit\u00e9s afin de limiter le r\u00e9chauffement climatique \u00e0 un niveau aussi proche que possible de 1,5\u00b0C. Le rapport du GIEC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/report\/ar6\/wg3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dernier rapport<\/a> L'accent mis sur l'att\u00e9nuation du changement climatique montre clairement que le gaz fossile sous forme de GNL n'est pas une solution pour la d\u00e9carbonisation du transport maritime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 ce qu'exige la science du climat, les compagnies maritimes et portuaires ont fait marche arri\u00e8re \u00e0 toute vapeur, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cma-cgm.com\/news\/3571\/cma-cgm-to-dedicate-six-new-lng-powered-vessels-to-service-u-s-customers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">investir massivement<\/a> dans le GNL fossile, all\u00e9guant que ce carburant r\u00e9duira leur impact sur l'environnement et la pollution climatique. Plus de 785 nouveaux cargos sont actuellement command\u00e9s dans le monde, dont plus de 400 sont construits pour fonctionner avec du GNL fossile polluant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Br\u00fbler davantage de GNL fossile \u00e0 bord des navires est une catastrophe en devenir pour notre plan\u00e8te. Cela ne ferait qu'augmenter les \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane des navires, qui ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 augment\u00e9 de 180% entre 2016 et 2023, selon une r\u00e9cente \u00e9tude de l'OCDE sur les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. <a href=\"https:\/\/theicct.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/ID-332-%E2%80%93-Global-shipping_report_final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rapport du Conseil international pour des transports propres (ICCT).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane diminuent \u00e9galement la qualit\u00e9 de l'air.
