Le GNL est un combustible fossile qui laisse \u00e9chapper du m\u00e9thane mortel tout au long de sa cha\u00eene d'approvisionnement. Il provoque des d\u00e9c\u00e8s pr\u00e9matur\u00e9s partout o\u00f9 il est produit et r\u00e9chauffe la plan\u00e8te \u00e0 un rythme alarmant. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/about-us\/\">SEA LNG<\/a> est une plateforme de lobbying cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour convaincre tout le monde que le GNL aidera le transport maritime \u00e0 passer \u00e0 un avenir plus vert. Mais c'est un mensonge. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des recherches r\u00e9centes ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 les mensonges des plateformes de lobbying industriel telles que <a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/\">SEA\/LNG<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/scijournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/ese3.1934\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">La recherche \u00e9valu\u00e9e par des pairs<\/a> r\u00e9v\u00e8le que le GNL extrait et export\u00e9 des \u00c9tats-Unis est 33% plus polluant que le charbon. Des fuites de m\u00e9thane se produisent tout au long du processus d'extraction et d'approvisionnement en GNL, entra\u00eenant des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 et la destruction de zones et de communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/article\/2024\/jul\/24\/fossil-fuel-liquified-natural-gas-louisiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">partout o\u00f9 une usine de GNL appara\u00eet.<\/a> Ces m\u00eames fuites se poursuivent \u00e0 bord <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/articles\/methane-escaping-from-green-gas-powered-ships-fuelling-climate-crisis-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Navires fonctionnant au GNL<\/a>et contribue \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l'effondrement du climat. Pour dissimuler cette v\u00e9rit\u00e9 g\u00eanante, l'industrie claironne <a href=\"https:\/\/saynotolng.org\/resource\/biomethane-infographic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biom\u00e9thane<\/a> et<a href=\"https:\/\/saynotolng.org\/resource\/factsheet-e-lng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> e-m\u00e9thane<\/a> qui ne repr\u00e9sentent que 6% du march\u00e9 de l'UE et encore moins du march\u00e9 mondial (et tous deux continuent de fuir le m\u00e9thane tout au long de leurs cha\u00eenes d'approvisionnement). L'ampleur industrielle de l'\u00e9coblanchiment du GNL a transform\u00e9 le march\u00e9 du GNL en un march\u00e9 de l'\u00e9nergie. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imo.org\/en\/MediaCentre\/MeetingSummaries\/Pages\/MEPC-default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ONU OMI MEPC<\/a> en marionnette de l'industrie des combustibles fossiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"7 avril 2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pYIYSdRkjKM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2b06\ufe0f Bilitaki Lovo, repr\u00e9sentant de l'Union europ\u00e9enne. <a href=\"https:\/\/mcstrmi.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Centre de transport durable de Micron\u00e9sie<\/a> explique comment la pollution due au transport maritime affecte la vie des habitants des \u00eeles du Pacifique, pollution qui ne sera pas att\u00e9nu\u00e9e par le passage \u00e0 l'euro. <a href=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/fr\/liquefied-natural-gas-lng-the-facts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GNL<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LE SUCC\u00c8S DE L'\u00c9COBLANCHIMENT DU GNL<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/about-us\/\">SEA LNG<\/a> a connu un grand succ\u00e8s, \u00e0 tel point que des entreprises telles que <a href=\"https:\/\/shipandbunker.com\/news\/world\/993488-maersk-backtracks-on-lng-skepticism-in-large-scale-new-ship-order-plans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maersk,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.change.org\/p\/stop-royal-caribbean-s-misleading-cruise-claims-that-lng-fuel-is-clean-a52e13c8-8f41-4b06-abe7-1745b76f4ffb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Royal Caribbean<\/a>et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.offshore-energy.biz\/msc-cruises-orders-two-new-lng-powered-world-class-ships-at-chantiers-de-latlantique\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MSC<\/a> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/bw-group.com\/our-businesses\/bw-lng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">promouvoir leurs navires GNL<\/a> Le GNL est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \"vert\" et vend ce mensonge au grand public. De plus, l'OMI est convaincue par ce mensonge et ne fait rien pour emp\u00eacher le GNL de devenir le combustible fossile de choix pour le transport maritime - rien que dans l'UE, la consommation de GNL par les navires a doubl\u00e9, passant de 2,2 millions de tonnes (Mt) en 2018 \u00e0 4,4 Mt en 2022. Les \u00e9missions de m\u00e9thane ont plus que doubl\u00e9 entre 2018 et 2023 dans l'UE, repr\u00e9sentant 26% des \u00e9missions totales de m\u00e9thane du secteur des transports en 2022 - une augmentation largement attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 l'utilisation croissante du GNL comme carburant marin, selon un rapport de l'OCDE. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emsa.europa.eu\/emter-2025\/full-report.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EMSA<\/a> rapport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le gaslighting est une forme de manipulation psychologique utilis\u00e9e pour vous faire douter de vos propres perceptions et de votre sant\u00e9 mentale, souvent en d\u00e9formant les faits ou la r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Les partisans du GNL emploient des tactiques d'\u00e9clairage au gaz, comme le financement de la recherche et la citation s\u00e9lective d'\u00e9tudes qui soutiennent leur discours. <a href=\"https:\/\/saynotolng.org\/resource\/setting-the-record-straight-say-no-to-lng-responds-to-sea-lng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tout en discr\u00e9ditant les chercheurs qui mettent en \u00e9vidence les risques du GNL<\/a>. Ils sapent \u00e9galement les voix communautaires dissidentes et les leaders d'opinion en les qualifiant d'\"alarmistes\" ou d'\"obstructionnistes\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les entreprises de ce type, qui se livrent \u00e0 du gaslighting tout en faisant des d\u00e9clarations de durabilit\u00e9, peuvent enfreindre leurs responsabilit\u00e9s l\u00e9gales envers les actionnaires et risquent des proc\u00e8s si ces risques mat\u00e9riels, y compris le risque de litige, ne sont pas correctement pris en compte dans leurs comptes audit\u00e9s.  De m\u00eame, les agences de notation qui ne parviennent pas \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter ce \"greenwash\" ne parviennent pas non plus \u00e0 fournir des informations pr\u00e9cises sur le d\u00e9veloppement durable \u00e0 leurs abonn\u00e9s du secteur financier, mettant ainsi en p\u00e9ril leur propre cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 et leurs mod\u00e8les d'entreprise.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sans parler du manquement aux responsabilit\u00e9s \u00e9thiques envers les parties prenantes au sens large pour \u00e9viter l'effondrement du climat, de la nature et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 cause des \u00e9missions fugitives de m\u00e9thane et de carbone fossile qui r\u00e9sultent du GNL. Loin d'\u00eatre propre, le GNL est l'un des combustibles les plus sales qui soient.
