Il semble que De Croo ait \u00e9t\u00e9 pi\u00e9g\u00e9 par sa cohorte flamande qui suit les conseils de l'agriculture et de la p\u00eache industrielles. Cela va \u00e0 l'encontre des conseils de sa propre ministre du Climat, Zakia Khattabi, de soutenir la loi. Dans un discours plein de carottes industrielles<\/a> M. De Croo a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu'il n'\u00e9tait pr\u00eat \u00e0 envisager que des solutions technologiques au changement climatique, la r\u00e9glementation au nom de la nature n'\u00e9tant pas de son ressort. Qu'est-ce que la loi sur la restauration de la nature ?
<\/strong>En juin dernier, la Commission europ\u00e9enne a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la nouvelle loi sur la restauration de la nature. Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, cette loi introduit des objectifs juridiquement contraignants pour restaurer les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes d\u00e9grad\u00e9s et inverser la tendance \u00e0 la perte de biodiversit\u00e9. La nouvelle loi fixe \u00e0 tous les \u00c9tats membres l'objectif de restaurer 20% des terres et des mers de l'UE d'ici \u00e0 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hier, le Parlement europ\u00e9en a vot\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois sur la loi relative \u00e0 la restauration de la nature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LE PREMIER VOTE DE LA LOI SUR LE R\u00c9TABLISSEMENT DE LA NATURE (LRN)<\/strong>

Le site amendement visant \u00e0 rejeter la LNR<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement soutenue par la droite (PPE), l'extr\u00eame droite (ID\/ECR) et certains membres de Renew. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'intervention de l'eurod\u00e9put\u00e9 lib\u00e9ral Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Ries<\/a> il a \u00e9t\u00e9 sauv\u00e9 du rejet - 44 pour et 44 contre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ries fait partie de la Renouveler le parti<\/a> et appartient au parti belge francophone Mouvement R\u00e9formateur (MR), qui ne cesse de se droitiser. Mme Ries est connue dans la bulle europ\u00e9enne pour ses positions environnementales contre le plastique et la pollution plastique. Elle est actuellement rapporteur (chef de file des d\u00e9put\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens) sur la proposition de r\u00e8glement europ\u00e9en sur les emballages et les d\u00e9chets d'emballages. Au niveau national, le parti de Ries a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de s'opposer \u00e0 la NRL et Ries a re\u00e7u l'ordre d'utiliser son vote contre la proposition, ou d'\u00eatre exclue du parti MR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au lieu d'y faire face directement, Mme Ries a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de ne pas participer au vote sur la LRN. Cela a mis son parti (le MR) tr\u00e8s en col\u00e8re, car, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa d\u00e9cision, la proposition de la LRN n'a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 rejet\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il semble que la Belgique commence \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner l'avenir de la LNR et, avec le premier vote termin\u00e9 et toute une liste d'amendements \u00e0 examiner, il est temps de faire monter la pression. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les d\u00e9put\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens ne peuvent pas \u00eatre autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 mettre la nature de c\u00f4t\u00e9 en faveur de la poursuite de l'activit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique. Il est temps que l'UE r\u00e9fl\u00e9chisse de mani\u00e8re cr\u00e9ative aux pr\u00e9occupations de ses citoyens en mati\u00e8re d'emploi et \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de s'\u00e9loigner des industries extractives telles que la p\u00eache. La loi sur la restauration de la nature (LRN) pourrait \u00eatre le meilleur moyen d'y parvenir. Elle offre la possibilit\u00e9 de placer les communaut\u00e9s au premier rang des pr\u00e9occupations en les associant \u00e0 une loi significative (LRN). Et si les communaut\u00e9s de p\u00eacheurs c\u00f4tiers \u00e9taient des bancs d'essai pour revenu de base<\/a>? Et ce revenu de base est l'occasion pour les habitants de prendre soin de leur environnement local, de leur lieu de vie ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ocean Rebellion demande au Parlement et au Conseil de l'UE de soutenir la loi sur la restauration de la nature dans son int\u00e9gralit\u00e9, y compris la proposition visant \u00e0 rendre les \u00c9tats membres l\u00e9galement responsables de la restauration de la nature, en donnant aux citoyens de l'UE le droit de poursuivre les \u00c9tats membres en cas de non-respect de cette loi. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ocean Rebellion demande \u00e9galement au Parlement europ\u00e9en d'inclure la p\u00eache en tant que facteur cl\u00e9 de la d\u00e9gradation des oc\u00e9ans dans la NRL, en soulignant cette inclusion par l'interdiction du chalutage de fond dans toutes les eaux de l'UE, et s'engage \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la p\u00eache de 80%, en mettant fin \u00e0 la p\u00eache industrielle et en responsabilisant les communaut\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res par la promotion d'une p\u00eache traditionnelle \u00e0 faible impact et \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 de main-d'\u0153uvre, ainsi que par des mesures incitatives en faveur de la protection des oc\u00e9ans. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
