Hay 60.000 de estos enormes cargueros, y creciendo r\u00e1pidamente, todos quemando el tipo de petr\u00f3leo m\u00e1s sucio y barato. Juntos emiten a la atm\u00f3sfera m\u00e1s de 1.000 MILLONES de toneladas de gases de efecto invernadero al a\u00f1o (tanto como 271 centrales el\u00e9ctricas de carb\u00f3n).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Eso es m\u00e1s CO2 que todos los pa\u00edses del mundo, salvo los cinco que m\u00e1s emiten, pero nunca hablamos de ello.&nbsp;<strong>El transporte mar\u00edtimo es una de LAS principales causas de la crisis clim\u00e1tica.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Jap\u00f3n, Panam\u00e1, Noruega y el grupo de presi\u00f3n de la industria, la C\u00e1mara Naviera Internacional (ICS), est\u00e1n presionando para que se permita que las gigantescas emisiones del transporte mar\u00edtimo sigan creciendo durante otra d\u00e9cada, poniendo en riesgo todo el Acuerdo de Par\u00eds, y un clima seguro.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u00bfQui\u00e9n est\u00e1 al mando? Supuestamente, la Organizaci\u00f3n Mar\u00edtima Internacional (OMI) de la ONU. Sin embargo, en lugar de servir al inter\u00e9s p\u00fablico, las delegaciones de muchos pa\u00edses ante la OMI hace tiempo que est\u00e1n controladas de forma corrupta por la industria que se supone que deben regular.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Tu gobierno participar\u00e1 en las dos pr\u00f3ximas rondas de negociaciones sobre el clima en la OMI, que tendr\u00e1n lugar del 19 al 23 de octubre y del 16 al 20 de noviembre.
