Resulta un poco chocante descubrir que en realidad s\u00f3lo tiene cincuenta a\u00f1os. Las recientes pesadillas del COVID-19 han vuelto a poner al sector en el punto de mira. Con los gobiernos poniendo en cuarentena los cruceros y los pasajeros abandonados a su suerte, la naturaleza desgobernada de estas ciudadelas flotantes vuelve a estar en el candelero.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He aqu\u00ed tres datos sobre el sector de los cruceros que no contaminan y que le pondr\u00e1n los pelos de punta. Y tenga en cuenta que el crucero medio genera diez veces m\u00e1s contaminaci\u00f3n por pasajero que un vuelo a\u00e9reo equivalente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) El 1 de febrero de 2020, un pasajero del crucero Diamond Princess dio positivo por coronavirus. Este fue el primer brote reconocido fuera de la provincia china de Wuhan. Los barcos siempre han sido portadores de g\u00e9rmenes. El t\u00e9rmino cuarentena se remonta a los tiempos de la peste negra, cuando cuarenta barcos tuvieron que permanecer en un puerto italiano durante cuarenta d\u00edas. En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, el sector ha sufrido brotes de e-coli, norovirus, gripe e incluso varicela. Al hacer un crucero se corre un riesgo que nunca se menciona en los folletos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) Un crucero tiene el tama\u00f1o de una peque\u00f1a ciudad en t\u00e9rminos de poblaci\u00f3n. El barco m\u00e1s grande transporta 5.500 pasajeros, pero no existe ning\u00fan requisito legal que exija la presencia de m\u00e9dicos certificados reconocidos. Esto significa que los pasajeros toman sus vidas en sus propias manos cada vez que embarcan.
