Es gibt 60.000 dieser riesigen Frachtschiffe, und es werden immer mehr, die alle das schmutzigste und billigste \u00d6l verbrennen. Zusammen pumpen sie jedes Jahr \u00fcber 1 MILLIARDEN Tonnen Treibhausgase in unsere Atmosph\u00e4re (so viel wie 271 Kohlekraftwerke!).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Das ist mehr CO2 als in allen L\u00e4ndern mit Ausnahme der f\u00fcnf L\u00e4nder mit den h\u00f6chsten Emissionen weltweit - aber wir reden nie dar\u00fcber.&nbsp;<strong>Die Schifffahrt ist einer DER gr\u00f6\u00dften Verursacher der Klimakrise.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Japan, Panama, Norwegen und die Industrie-Lobbygruppe Internationale Schifffahrtskammer (ICS) setzen sich daf\u00fcr ein, dass die gigantischen Emissionen der Schifffahrt noch ein weiteres Jahrzehnt weiter ansteigen d\u00fcrfen, was das gesamte Pariser Abkommen und ein sicheres Klima gef\u00e4hrdet.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Und wer ist daf\u00fcr zust\u00e4ndig? Angeblich die Internationale Seeschifffahrtsorganisation der UN (IMO). Doch anstatt dem \u00f6ffentlichen Interesse zu dienen, werden viele L\u00e4nderdelegationen bei der IMO seit langem von der Industrie, die sie eigentlich regulieren sollen, korrupt kontrolliert.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Ihre Regierung nimmt an den n\u00e4chsten beiden Runden der IMO-Klimagespr\u00e4che teil, die vom 19. bis 23. Oktober und vom 16. bis 20. November stattfinden. Sie m\u00fcssen sich von Ihnen sagen lassen, was sie tun sollen, nicht von der Industrie.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Wir fordern von den Regierungen in der IMO die Verabschiedung echter, durchgesetzter CO2-Vorschriften, die die Emissionen der Schifffahrt im Einklang mit dem Pariser Abkommen sofort senken.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dieser Ansatz k\u00f6nnte verhindern, dass die gleiche Menge an CO2 in unsere Atmosph\u00e4re gelangt, wie die Abschaltung von 90 Kohlekraftwerken im n\u00e4chsten Jahrzehnt!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Nach der katastrophalen \u00d6lpest auf Mauritius, die Japan verursacht hat, ist unsere Forderung einfach:&nbsp;<strong>Erhalten Sie Schiffe aus fossilen Brennstoffen,<\/strong>&nbsp;zur Verhinderung wiederholter fahrl\u00e4ssiger Freisetzungen fossiler Brennstoffe, zum Schutz der Lebensgrundlagen der Menschen, zum Schutz wertvoller Meeresumgebungen und zum Schutz unseres Klimas vor dem Zusammenbruch durch fossile Brennstoffe.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>TWEET<\/strong><br>Die Botschaft von Japan&nbsp;<strong>@JAPANinUK<\/strong><br>Das Schiffsregister von Panama&nbsp;<strong>@SchiffPanama<\/strong><br>Norwegen botschaft&nbsp;<strong>@NorwayinUK<\/strong><br>Und Ihre eigene Regierung<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Verlangen sie&nbsp;<strong>#SortierenSieIhrSchiffAus&nbsp;<\/strong>und&nbsp;<strong>#GetShipsOffFossilFuels<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Japan and Panama are lobbying to let the shipping industry sink the Paris Agreement &#8211; behind closed doors.We live in a globalized world &#8211; just take a look at where your clothes or trainers were made.
