Juni, um 19.00 Uhr, wird auf der <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Plage+du+Centenaire\/data=!4m7!3m6!1s0x12cddaa03a062241:0xf93a9466f6cdae26!8m2!3d43.6945996!4d7.2671923!16s%2Fg%2F1pycr7wgy!19sChIJQSIGOqDazRIRJq7N9maUOvk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Plage du Centenaire<\/strong><\/a><strong> am Ende der <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluemarch2025.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Blauer M\u00e4rz<\/strong><\/a><strong> am <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.un.org\/conferences\/ocean2025\/about-unoc-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>UN-Ozeankonferenz (UNOC)<\/strong><\/a><strong> in Nizza, Frankreich, wurde ein siebbedrucktes Grundschleppnetz, das einen Weltrekord darstellt, der \u00d6ffentlichkeit vorgestellt. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Netz entging nur knapp einer Verhaftung, als Demonstranten und Schaulustige eine improvisierte Sitzblockade zu seiner Verteidigung durchf\u00fchrten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Netz, das die Bestrebungen der EU zur weiteren Zerst\u00f6rung der Meeresfauna und -flora repr\u00e4sentiert, ist der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Siebdruck der Welt, handgefertigt und besteht aus \u00fcber 1.000 einzelnen Siebdrucken. Aber es wurde nicht geschaffen, um Weltrekorde zu brechen. 150 Meter ist die Breite der Backen eines Grundschleppnetzes, das sogar noch breiter sein kann. So breit, dass zehn Jumbo-Jets darin fliegen k\u00f6nnen. Das bedeutet, dass unz\u00e4hlige Meeresschildkr\u00f6ten, Delfine und Seeteufel durch die Gier der industriellen Fischerei in der EU (unter dem Schutz der EU-Regierungschefs) erstickt und dann einfach \u00fcber Bord geworfen werden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Grundschleppnetzfischerei geh\u00f6rt zu den zerst\u00f6rerischsten Fischereimethoden, die zu einem irreversiblen Verlust von \u00d6kosystemen und zur Freisetzung gro\u00dfer Mengen von im Meeresboden gespeichertem Kohlenstoff f\u00fchren. Ein Verbot dieser Methode w\u00fcrde 93% aller EU <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-020-71021-x\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fischr\u00fcckw\u00fcrfe und Beifang<\/a> (Meereslebewesen, die zuf\u00e4llig mitgefangen und tot oder sterbend ins Meer zur\u00fcckgeworfen werden, oder Nicht-Ziel-Meereslebewesen, die ebenfalls tot oder sterbend \u00fcber Bord geworfen werden). Die europ\u00e4ischen Regierungen geben  <a href=\"https:\/\/news.nationalgeographic.org\/study-bottom-trawling-in-european-waters-costs-society-up-to-eur11-billion-annually\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1,3 Milliarden Euro pro Jahr zur Subventionierung dieser Katastrophe<\/a>. Warum finanzieren die Steuerzahler der EU eine Industrie, die ihre K\u00fcstengew\u00e4sser zerst\u00f6rt? Der Ozean ist so dezimiert, dass kleine Fischergemeinden am Rande des \u00dcberlebens stehen und Gebiete, die fr\u00fcher reichlich vorhanden waren, jetzt leer sind. \u00dcber 100 Millionen Menschen sind f\u00fcr ihre t\u00e4gliche Ern\u00e4hrung und ihren Lebensunterhalt auf die K\u00fcstenfischerei und die kleine handwerkliche Fischerei angewiesen - oft in denselben Gew\u00e4ssern, in denen die EU-Trawler fischen. Die Beendigung der industriellen Fischerei ist wirklich eine Selbstverst\u00e4ndlichkeit. Die EU kann unter der F\u00fchrung Frankreichs damit beginnen, Meeresschutzgebiete wirklich zu sch\u00fctzen und die Grundschleppnetzfischerei in der gesamten EU-Fischereiflotte zu verbieten.
