Dann kletterte er auf den Boden, um ein anderes Plakat aufzuheben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Kleisterpuppe Scrubby hoffte, dass ihr unverhohlenes Greenwashing helfen w\u00fcrde <a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/about-us\/membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEA LNG<\/a> Mitglieder sichern sich einen Freifahrtschein f\u00fcr LNG. Der Greenwashing-Schwamm war sehr darauf bedacht, seine <a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/\"> Die Zukunft der Schifffahrt\".<\/a> Nachricht im Namen von<a href=\"http:\/\/sealng.org\/\"> SEALNG.ORG<\/a> wurde von allen IMO-Delegierten und Mitgliedstaaten gesehen. Schlie\u00dflich wollte die IMO nicht, dass ihre Arbeitgeber, die Industrie f\u00fcr fossile Brennstoffe und die Schifffahrt, die Chance verpassen, LNG vor den MEPC-Diskussionen \u00fcber die Treibstoffabgaben f\u00fcr die Schifffahrt (die Unternehmen wie Exxon Mobil und Maersk zu vermeiden hoffen, indem sie LNG als den \"gr\u00fcnen\" Treibstoff verkaufen, der es nicht ist) gr\u00fcn zu waschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signal-2025-04-07-180948.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4509\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signal-2025-04-07-180948.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signal-2025-04-07-180948-596x447.jpg 596w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signal-2025-04-07-180948-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/signal-2025-04-07-180948-16x12.jpg 16w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2b06\ufe0f Das Poster lobte die Bepflanzung.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Auff\u00fchrung zeugt von dem z\u00fcgellosen Puppenspiel, das auf den MEPC-Sitzungen herrscht. Sitzungen, die von den Interessen der Schifffahrtsindustrie dominiert werden, einer Industrie, die darauf bedacht ist, ihre Verbindungen mit der fossilen Brennstoffindustrie fortzusetzen, indem sie schmutziges LNG als Treibstoff ihrer Wahl annimmt. Und das trotz j\u00fcngster Untersuchungen, die die L\u00fcgen von Lobbyplattformen der Industrie wie <a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEA\/LNG<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/scijournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/ese3.1934\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Die von Fachleuten gepr\u00fcfte Forschung<\/a> zeigt, dass das aus den USA gef\u00f6rderte und exportierte LNG 33% umweltsch\u00e4dlicher ist als Kohle. W\u00e4hrend des gesamten Prozesses der LNG-F\u00f6rderung und -Lieferung treten Methanlecks auf, die Gesundheitsprobleme und die Zerst\u00f6rung von Gebieten und K\u00fcstengemeinden verursachen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/article\/2024\/jul\/24\/fossil-fuel-liquified-natural-gas-louisiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wo auch immer eine LNG-Anlage entsteht.<\/a> Diese Lecks bestehen auch an Bord <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/articles\/methane-escaping-from-green-gas-powered-ships-fuelling-climate-crisis-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LNG-betriebene Schiffe<\/a>und tr\u00e4gt so zur Beschleunigung des Klimakollapses bei. Um diese unbequeme Wahrheit zu vertuschen, trompetet die Industrie <a href=\"https:\/\/saynotolng.org\/resource\/biomethane-infographic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biomethan<\/a> und<a href=\"https:\/\/saynotolng.org\/resource\/factsheet-e-lng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> E-Methan<\/a> Produkte, die nur 6% des EU-Marktes ausmachen und sogar noch weniger weltweit (und beide haben immer noch Methanlecks in ihren Lieferketten). Die realen Methanemissionen der Schifffahrt zeigen auch, dass der Beitrag des Sektors zum Klimawandel gr\u00f6\u00dfer ist als bisher angenommen. Trotz der negativen Klima- und Umweltauswirkungen wird f\u00fcr die Schifffahrtsbranche ein weiteres Wachstum der LNG-Nachfrage prognostiziert, wobei bis 2030 j\u00e4hrlich etwa 160 bis 500 neue LNG-betriebene Schiffe hinzukommen sollen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wir brauchen strenge Methanvorschriften bei der IMO<\/strong><br>Nach Angaben der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/report\/ar6\/syr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IPCC (AR6)<\/a>Um den Klimanotstand und seine verheerenden Auswirkungen auf die Menschen zu bew\u00e4ltigen, m\u00fcssen die Methanemissionen in naher Zukunft dringend bek\u00e4mpft werden. Die Bef\u00fcrworter von LNG t\u00e4uschen die politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger \u00fcber das wahre Ausma\u00df der Klima- und Gesundheitsauswirkungen von LNG und gef\u00e4hrden gleichzeitig eine \u00fcberlebensf\u00e4hige Zukunft auf diesem Planeten.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die IMO ist das Gremium der Vereinten Nationen zur Regelung der internationalen Schifffahrt. <strong>Derzeit gibt es keine spezifischen internationalen Vorschriften f\u00fcr Methanemissionen von Schiffen. <\/strong>Es gibt jedoch mehrere M\u00f6glichkeiten, Methan im Rahmen des Ausschusses f\u00fcr den Schutz der Meeresumwelt (MEPC83) umfassend in den Regelungsrahmen der IMO zu integrieren. Sollte dies nicht geschehen, schlagen wir eine drastischere Zukunft f\u00fcr die IMO vor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aufruf zum Handeln bei der IMO:<\/strong><br><strong>LNG ist ein fossiler Brennstoff, der in jeder Phase seines Lebenszyklus negative Auswirkungen auf Mensch, Umwelt und Klima hat.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wir fordern:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1\/ <\/strong>Methanemissionen werden als Treibhausgas betrachtet und in alle MEPC-Pl\u00e4ne zur Erhebung einer Kohlenstoffsteuer auf die Schifffahrt einbezogen, wobei die \u00fcbersch\u00fcssige klimawirksame Kapazit\u00e4t von fl\u00fcchtigem Methan ber\u00fccksichtigt wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2\/<\/strong> Die Mitgliedstaaten der IMO erkennen LNG als fossilen Brennstoff an und h\u00f6ren nicht l\u00e4nger auf die <a href=\"https:\/\/sea-lng.org\/why-lng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEA LNG<\/a> Lobbyisten und schlie\u00dft sie stattdessen aus der IMO aus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3\/<\/strong> Die IMO zur F\u00f6rderung der Effizienz und des Einsatzes von Slow Steaming, Kapazit\u00e4tsabbau und, <a href=\"https:\/\/seas-at-risk.org\/publications\/one-planet-shipping-navigating-the-waves-of-climate-change\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Segel- und elektrisch betriebene Schiffe<\/a> durch Anreize f\u00fcr die Aufnahme von T\u00e4tigkeiten im Schifffahrtssektor, die Bef\u00e4higung und H\u00f6herqualifizierung von Arbeitnehmern und die Einf\u00fchrung gerechterer Schifffahrtswege.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/DSCF2633-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4535\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/DSCF2633-L.jpg 800w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/DSCF2633-L-596x894.jpg 596w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/DSCF2633-L-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/oceanrebellion.earth\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/DSCF2633-L-8x12.jpg 8w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2b06\ufe0f Ist es ein Vogel?
