Juni um 21.30 Uhr stachen die Mitglieder von Ocean Rebellion erneut in See, diesmal, um das Kreuzfahrtschiff Silja Europa zu beleuchten, das w\u00e4hrend der G7-Konferenz als teures Provisorium f\u00fcr die Polizei diente.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Ocean Rebellion projizierte Slogans auf das Kreuzfahrtschiff, das letzte Woche mit fossilen Brennstoffen aus der Ostsee kam, darunter AS THE SEA DIES WE DIE \/ STOP GREENWASHING, TAX SHIPPING FUEL NOW \/ STOP OVERFISHING, FURLOUGH THE FLEET \/ CRUISES SPREAD DISEASES.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Die Silja Europa wurde aus Estland herbeigeschafft, um \u00fcber 1000 Polizisten unterzubringen, obwohl in der Fal-M\u00fcndung und in den Docks von Falmouth leere F\u00e4hren liegen. Berechnungen zeigen, dass die Umweltkosten f\u00fcr die Anmietung dieses Kreuzfahrtschiffs so hoch sind, als w\u00fcrde jeder Polizist auf dem Schiff sechsmal mit einem mit fossilen Brennstoffen betriebenen Auto zum Mond und zur\u00fcck fahren.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Ocean Rebellion fordert, dass die Regierung aufh\u00f6rt, Geld f\u00fcr sinnlose Konferenzen zu verschwenden, bei denen es nur um Greenwashing und schickes Essen geht. Die Welt braucht Regierungen, die bereit sind, die Ozeane zu sch\u00fctzen und zu reparieren. Ocean Rebellion fordert, dass die G7 zustimmt:<br>JETZT Kraftstoffe besteuern<br>Fischereiflotten JETZT aufstocken<br>JETZT die Hohe See vor Tiefseebergbau sch\u00fctzen<br>Stoppen Sie die chemische Verschmutzung durch Kosmetika, Abw\u00e4sser, Kunststoffe und Landwirtschaft JETZT<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-9679291\/Extinction-Rebellion-protestors-sea-demand-action-climate-change-G7-summit.html#v-7999322614257565926\">dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-9679291\/Extinction-Rebellion-protestors-sea-demand-action-climate-change-G7-summit.html<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Rob Higgs sagt<br><em>\"Die Schifffahrt ist weltweit f\u00fcr 400.000 vorzeitige Todesf\u00e4lle verantwortlich. Wir sagen: Stopp jetzt!\"<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>sagt Roc Sandford von Ocean Rebellion:<br><em>\"Die britische Regierung hat trotz ihrer umweltfreundlichen Haltung wahnsinnige Mengen an sch\u00e4dlichem Schiffstreibstoff f\u00fcr die Fahrt eines Kreuzfahrtschiffes aus der Ostsee ausgegeben, nur um die f\u00fcr den G7-Gipfel angereisten Polizisten unterzubringen. Entweder wissen sie nicht, wie sch\u00e4dlich das ist, oder es ist ihnen egal. Oder beides. Um einen unkontrollierten Zusammenbruch des Klimas und der Natur zu verhindern, m\u00fcssen Schifffahrt und Luftfahrt jetzt so besteuert werden, dass ihr Verbrauch um mindestens 10% pro Jahr sinkt, und zwar im Einklang mit der \u00fcbrigen Wirtschaft.
