Noch besser ist es, wenn man acht Augen au\u00dferhalb der IMO hat, die die Ankunft der Delegierten beobachten, die auf der 14. Sitzung der \"Intersessional Working Group on the Reduction of GHG Emissions from Ships\" \u00fcber Treibhausgasemissionen diskutieren.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich frage mich, ob die Treibhausgasgruppe irgendwelche seetauglichen Entscheidungen getroffen hat, wie die Emissionen der Schifffahrt reduziert werden k\u00f6nnen? Wahrscheinlich nicht, denn alles, was sich auf den Gewinn der Schifffahrtsindustrie auswirkt, steht nicht zur Debatte - trotz des enormen Gewinnanstiegs, den die Branche verzeichnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vielleicht hilft ihnen unsere sanfte Mahnung der Roten Rebellen, \u00fcber ihre Pflicht gegen\u00fcber der Umwelt nachzudenken. Wir werden die IMO sp\u00e4ter in diesem Jahr erneut besuchen, um sie erneut daran zu erinnern. In der Zwischenzeit k\u00f6nnen Sie hier nachlesen, wie wir \u00fcber die IMO denken.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n    <h2 id=\"callout-block_40047122d8e29bb661a51423bd0846f9\" class=\"callout-heading callout-heading-advanced\">\n\n    \n        <span class=\"font--function-stencil size--fixed\">Die IMO<\/span>\n    \n    \n        <span class=\"font--function-stencil size--fixed\">ist ungeeignet f\u00fcr<\/span>\n    \n    \n        <span class=\"font--function-stencil size--fixed\">Zweck<\/span>\n    \n    \n    <\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Die IMO ist eindeutig ungeeignet f\u00fcr ihren Zweck. Sie handelt nur im Namen der Schifffahrtsindustrie und ber\u00fccksichtigt selten die Umwelt. Sie muss die Schifffahrtsemissionen jetzt halbieren. Nimmt man noch hinzu, dass die IMO die Industrie f\u00fcr fossile Brennstoffe unterst\u00fctzt, indem sie Schiffskraftstoffe nicht besteuert und die Verbrennung des schmutzigen fossilen Nebenprodukts HFO auf See zul\u00e4sst, sowie die fehlende Regulierung der gef\u00e4hrlichen petrochemischen Schifffahrt, dann wird die Liste der IMO-Fehltritte und Irrwege sehr lang. Ist es angesichts dieser immer l\u00e4nger werdenden Liste nicht an der Zeit, dass der Umweltauftrag der IMO von einer anderen, besseren UN-Organisation wahrgenommen wird?  Das Leben ist zu wichtig, um es durch eine unf\u00e4hige B\u00fcrokratie zu vergeuden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ocean Rebellion fordert:<\/strong><br><strong>Die UNO muss ein neues, transparentes und repr\u00e4sentatives Gremium bilden, das den Ozean zum Wohle ALLEN Lebens verwaltet. Dieses neue Gremium muss die Wiederherstellung und Wiederauff\u00fcllung des Ozeans als einzigen Ma\u00dfstab f\u00fcr den Erfolg haben. Sie sollte die Macht der Unternehmen durch die Macht der Menschen ersetzen.
