Hier, FishStixx et SeaWeed ont \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9s \u00e0 la Plage du Centenaire, le premier jour de la conf\u00e9rence de presse. UNOC 2025<\/a> \u00e0 Nice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au d\u00e9but, la police locale pensait que le tournage du groupe \u00e9tait une protestation de Greenpeace, qui s'\u00e9tait vu refuser l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la plage pour son \"v\u00e9hicule d'exploitation mini\u00e8re en eaux profondes\". Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 convaincue de l'identit\u00e9 du groupe (nous leur avons fait \u00e9couter l'horrible musique), la police municipale a tout de m\u00eame insist\u00e9 pour interroger le groupe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les deux membres du groupe, dont l'un avait encore la chaussette sur le membre, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 embarqu\u00e9s dans une voiture de police et emmen\u00e9s au poste. Nous avons envoy\u00e9 un membre de l'\u00e9quipe avec eux, mais on lui a refus\u00e9 l'acc\u00e8s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les tueurs de fonds marins <\/strong>
Les Seabed Slayers s'int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 l'ensemble des fonds marins et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de <\/p>\n\n\n\n

les tristement c\u00e9l\u00e8bres \"Nodules polym\u00e9talliques\", le groupe de heavy metal de Deep Sea Mining (DSM) d'Ocean Rebellion, qui a fait vibrer les parkings et les conf\u00e9rences du monde entier dans le domaine des DSM. Comme vous le savez, les fonds marins constituent le plus grand \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me de la plan\u00e8te et sont menac\u00e9s par l'industrie sur tous les fronts. R\u00e9cemment encore, Donald Trump a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la guerre aux fonds marins en relancer la ru\u00e9e vers l'or de l'exploitation mini\u00e8re en eaux profondes<\/a> et de redynamiser le secteur en perte de vitesse Gerard Barron et son syst\u00e8me de Ponzi \"The Metals Company\".<\/a> Il en va de m\u00eame pour le chalutage de fond : il s'agit d'une industrie ax\u00e9e sur l'extraction, qui ne se pr\u00e9occupe pas des dommages qu'elle cause. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les \"Seabed Slayers\" savent que toutes les industries extractives des fonds marins sont identiques et que la seule r\u00e9ponse est d'y mettre fin d\u00e8s maintenant. Les fonds marins ne sont pas une ressource, mais un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me qui n\u00e9cessite des soins communs. Les communaut\u00e9s de p\u00eacheurs traditionnels le savent, elles en d\u00e9pendent pour leur subsistance. Il n'en va pas de m\u00eame pour les propri\u00e9taires de chalutiers industriels, les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d'exploitation mini\u00e8re en eaux profondes et les investisseurs en capital-risque qui ne voient dans les fonds marins qu'une opportunit\u00e9 commerciale. Mais que se passera-t-il lorsque les fonds marins seront d\u00e9pouill\u00e9s ? Pensent-ils vraiment que leur situation sera meilleure ?
