August, begr\u00fc\u00dften Aktivisten von Ocean Rebellion und Extinction Rebellion die \"Resilient Lady\" von <a href=\"https:\/\/zeehavendagenamsterdam.nl\/en\/actueel\/cruiseschip-valiant-lady-in-haven-ijmuiden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Virgin Cruises in Ijmuiden<\/a> mit einer angemessenen Zeremonie auf der Grundlage des Bums.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seit einigen Wochen wird die Einfahrt von Kreuzfahrtschiffen in den Amsterdamer Hafen durch <a href=\"https:\/\/nltimes.nl\/2024\/08\/18\/extinction-rebellion-activists-block-cruise-ships-ijmuiden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aktivisten, die die Schleusen in Ijmuiden blockieren<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese Nachricht verbreitete sich schnell in der Kreuzfahrtbranche, und die Kreuzfahrtschiffe legten in Ijmuiden statt in Amsterdam an und brachten die Tausenden von Passagieren mit Bussen ins Zentrum von Amsterdam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir waren der Meinung, dass die Kreuzfahrtpassagiere einen geb\u00fchrenden Empfang in Ijmuiden verdient hatten, bevor sie von Bord gingen, einen Empfang, der die Kreuzfahrer wissen lie\u00df, was f\u00fcr ein Haufen von Arschl\u00f6chern sie wirklich sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kreuzfahrten sind f\u00fcr Arschl\u00f6cher\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wBBYvbwh8dA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Freche Kreuzfahrtpassagiere werden mit einem Zwei-Po-Gru\u00df begr\u00fc\u00dft.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n    <h2 id=\"callout-block_6984067172e18aef017816c6134d442c\" class=\"callout-heading callout-heading-advanced\">\n\n    \n        <span class=\"font--function-stencil size--fixed\">ein Schiff<\/span>\n    \n    \n        <span class=\"font--function-stencil size--fixed\">ist gleich sechs<\/span>\n    \n    \n        <span class=\"font--function-stencil size--fixed\">Millionen Auto<\/span>\n    \n    \n        <span class=\"font--function-stencil size--fixed\">Auspuffanlagen<\/span>\n    \n    \n    <\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Was ist so schlimm an Kreuzfahrtschiffen?<\/strong><br>In Amsterdam werden die Kreuzfahrtschiffe zu einem gro\u00dfen \u00c4rgernis f\u00fcr die Einheimischen. Nicht nur, dass sie das Licht verdunkeln (Amsterdam ist flach und die H\u00f6he der Geb\u00e4ude ist geregelt), sondern auch die Passagiere, wie dieses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/en\/news\/36477\/cruise-tourists-spend-less\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Norwegische Studie<\/a> Shows, tragen nicht viel (oder gar nichts) zur lokalen Wirtschaft bei. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das einzige, was Kreuzfahrtschiffe in Amsterdam bewirken, ist eine massive Verschmutzung. Studien wie diese von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/articles\/luxury-cruise-giant-emits-10-times-more-air-pollution-sox-all-europes-cars-study\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NGO T&amp;E<\/a> haben gezeigt, dass Kreuzfahrtschiffe im Jahr 2017 vor den europ\u00e4ischen K\u00fcsten zehnmal mehr Schwefeloxid (SOX) emittiert haben als 260 Millionen Autos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mehr <a href=\"https:\/\/safety4sea.com\/te-as-cruise-ships-grow-so-do-environmental-challenges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">j\u00fcngste Forschung<\/a> ist sogar noch be\u00e4ngstigender. Die Kreuzfahrtschiffe werden immer gr\u00f6\u00dfer, und das Problem ist es auch. Die Kreuzfahrtindustrie versucht, dieses Problem zu verschleiern, indem sie ihre Schiffe langsam auf einen neuen Kraftstoff, Fl\u00fcssigerdgas (LNG), umstellt. Dieser Treibstoff setzt jedoch Methan in die Atmosph\u00e4re frei, ein Treibhausgas, das 80-mal st\u00e4rker wirkt als CO2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Warum sollen die Amsterdamer B\u00fcrger st\u00e4ndig den Emissionen von Kohlenmonoxid, Schwefeldioxid und fl\u00fcchtigen organischen Verbindungen (VOC) von Kreuzfahrtschiffen ausgesetzt sein? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.environmentalhealthproject.org\/post\/liquefied-natural-gas-lng-health-and-climate-impacts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Studien haben gezeigt<\/a> dass diese Schadstoffe mit einer Reihe von gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen in Verbindung gebracht werden, darunter Kopfschmerzen, Husten, Schwindel und andere Erkrankungen der Atemwege. Sie k\u00f6nnen auch Haut, Augen, Nase und Lunge reizen.
